1. Who We Are
Breaze ("we", "us", or "our") is a mindful breathing and wellness application. We are based in Lithuania (European Union) and act as the data controller for personal data collected via:
- Our marketing website at breaze.app (the "Website")
- Our iOS and watchOS mobile applications and widgets (the "App")
Together, the Website and App are referred to as the "Services".
Contact: info@breaze.app
2. What Data We Collect (and What We Don’t)
We intentionally keep data collection to a minimum. We do not collect things like marketing profiles, behavioral advertising data, or unnecessary personal details.
Information You Actively Provide (Website)
- Contact form: Name, email address, subject, and message content when you reach out via our contact page.
- Beta sign‑up: Email address (and optional name, if you include it) when you request early access to the App.
Technical Metadata for Security & Delivery (Website)
When you use our forms or APIs, our infrastructure provider automatically receives limited technical data that we store in our database:
- IP address (used for basic rate‑limiting and abuse prevention)
- Browser or device user‑agent string
- Timestamp of your request
We use this information only to operate the forms securely and reliably, not to build marketing profiles.
Anonymous Usage Data (App)
Inside the iOS and watchOS App, we use a privacy‑friendly analytics solution (such as Firebase Analytics) to understand how the App is used in aggregate. This may include:
- Events like starting, completing, or skipping a breathing session
- Which features are used (for example, garden views, animal collection screens, or settings)
- Basic device information (e.g., device model, OS version, app version)
These analytics events are anonymous and are not linked to your name, email address, or any contact details.
Apple Health & System Permissions (App)
- Apple Health (HealthKit): If you choose to connect Apple Health, the App can write your mindfulness or breathing minutes to Apple Health so they appear in your health statistics. We do not store this health data on our servers; it stays on your device and within Apple’s Health ecosystem.
- Notifications: If you enable notifications, Apple’s push notification service processes your device token so we can send reminders. We do not use notification data for advertising.
- Widgets & Watch App: Widgets and the Apple Watch companion app access only the minimum data needed to show your garden state and start sessions.
3. Why We Process Your Data (Legal Bases)
We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
- Legitimate interests: To operate, secure, and improve the Website and App (for example, preventing spam/abuse and understanding which features are used).
- Consent: When you submit a contact message, join the beta waitlist, enable analytics, connect Apple Health, or turn on notifications.
- Contract / pre‑contractual: To communicate with you about the App or beta access when you request it.
- Legal obligations: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and requests from authorities.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We aim to avoid invasive tracking. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your browsing history.
Website Analytics
On the Website, we may use a privacy‑friendly analytics tool (for example, Google Analytics configured with IP anonymization) to understand how many people visit and which pages are most helpful. This analytics data is aggregated and does not include your name or email address.
Your browser may store small cookies or similar identifiers strictly to make analytics work (for example, to count unique visits). You can block or clear these cookies via your browser settings.
App Analytics
In the App, we use anonymous event tracking (for example, via Firebase) to understand feature usage and app stability. This is limited to in‑app events and basic device information and is not used for targeted advertising.
5. Email Communications
If you contact us or join the beta waitlist, we may email you to:
- Reply to your questions or support requests
- Share important information about beta access or critical changes to the App
We do not run high‑volume marketing campaigns. If you ever receive an email from us that you no longer wish to receive, you can reply and ask to be removed, or email us at info@breaze.app.
6. Sharing Your Data
We share your personal data only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We work with trusted service providers who help us deliver the Services, such as:
- Web hosting and infrastructure providers
- Cloud database providers (for example, storing contact and beta sign‑up submissions)
- Email delivery providers (for sending contact‑form notifications)
- Analytics providers (for anonymous or aggregated usage statistics)

Legal Requirements

No Sale of Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
7. International Transfers

- Analytics data: According to our analytics provider's defaults or up to 26 months if configurable
- Account data (when available): Until you delete your account or request deletion

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

10. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@breaze.app, and we will promptly delete it.

- Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication and access controls
- Regular security assessments
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
